![]() ![]() They’re all terrible people, as selfish, unsatisfied, unforgiving and unlikeable as they could possibly be. Every Kissing Booth film contains the most emotionless, annoying and cringeworthy characters that could have possibly been written up. The same complaints about story and plot can be made by some about Netflix’s other teenage heartthrob film franchise To All The Boys, but the difference between the two is that TATB is able to rely on likable and charismatic characters and relationships among the cast to push the franchise along and make viewers actually want more. Each and every one of them are basic, low-effort and nearly impossible to get through, following what seems like the same snore-fest of a plot each and every time. I’m honestly just baffled at how The Kissing Booth franchise was able to get one preposterously terrible screenplay made into a movie, yet two more films on top of that.
